The Fig Tree is a platform for Levantine artisans where history and sustainable craftsmanship is celebrated in the form of slow movement tableware, meticulously curated for the contemporary European market. For the visual identity, a back to basics design approach included experimenting with cyanotypes and hand carved stamps as part of the process. This evolved into a unique emblem and dynamic visual language, reflecting the natural handmade quality of the pieces and their unwavering connection to the gentle liveliness of the land. The design scope also included communication templates and artisan photoshoots in collaboration with Lara Chahine.
